The Education Justice Coalition has been busy this past year building powerful work in our community:

  • We developed a Sanctuary Schools model policy and have provided guidance for protecting immigrant and refugee students.
  • We hosted our first Statewide Youth Gathering and started building a statewide Youth Social Justice Network.
  • We expanded Summer Social Justice Camps from 1 county to 4.
  • We led a train-the-trainer where youth could learn to lead workshops related to hazing, harassment, and bullying.
  • Our Educator of Color Network has continued to grow, now with over 120 members

Our programs are building youth power and transforming culture in Vermont schools.

At the Education Justice Coalition we lead with our values; centering the voices of those most impacted, continuing to learn, and challenging systems of oppression. We know that many of you share these values and want to see how we can build a better world together. Our sustaining donor drive is an opportunity for you to invest in the mission and values of our organization. Sustaining donors give monthly to the Education Justice Coalition thereby providing us with funds to sustain our organizing and power-building work. Our goal is to reach 85 sustaining donors by the end of the year. Can you join us to help us reach our goal?

Other ways to donate: We also have an option for larger capacity donors who can give over $500 a year to become a sustaining donor by making a yearly donation commitment (info here). We'd love you to join us as a monthly sustaining donor if you're able to, however, if you'd prefer to make a one time donation you can do that here. You can also send a one time donation to: Education Justice Coalition of Vermont 393 Manhattan Drive Burlington, VT 05401

Buy a sweatshirt: You can buy a cozy sweatshirt with our "Change is Possible" logo on it. When you wear our sweatshirt, you’re not only providing funds to support our work, you’re also helping spread the word of the work we do.
