The Education Justice Coalition has been busy this past year building powerful work in our community:

  • We started an internship program where high school students are helping us build a Social Justice Club Network.
  • Our Educator of Color Network has continued to grow, now with over 120 members.
  • We hosted our second conference, BIPOC Overnight Camp, and Summer Social Justice Camp.
  • We designed and ran a graduate course to support educators to shift their teaching practices toward the updated Education Quality Standards.

Our programs are building youth power and transforming culture in Vermont schools.

At the Education Justice Coalition we lead with our values; centering the voices of those most impacted, continuing to learn, and challenging systems of oppression. We know that many of you share these values and want to see how we can build a better world together. For the next 6 weeks, we are trying something new. Our sustainer donor drive is an opportunity for you to invest in the mission and values of our organization. Sustaining donors give monthly to the Education Justice Coalition thereby providing us with funds to sustain our organizing and power-building work. Our goal is to reach 100 sustaining donors by the end of the year. Can you join us to help us reach our goal?
